The WHES40 soft water system makes maintaining and monitoring your water usage easy — a tank light on the softener helps you see the salt* level to know when it is time to add more.

High Hardness Removal: The WHES40 can remove a maximum of 125 gpg of hardness, making it an ideal choice for houses with high levels of hardness.
Iron Removal: The system triggers an additional backwash cycle to rid itself and your water supply of excess non-ferrous (clear water) iron. This Whirlpool 40000 grain water softener can remove iron up to 10ppm.
Low Salt Indicator Light: A steady light indicates the softener is working efficiently, but will start blinking once salt levels are becoming low, giving you notice a few days in advance to refill.
Water Flow Indicator: The water flow indicator alerts you immediately to any potential leaks in your home’s plumbing.
