The WHES30 Medium Grain Water Softener is an efficient choice for families of 4 or more - or households that use a moderate amount of water. It features ultra-efficient Demand Regeneration and 6th Sense® technologies that can learn and predict your water usage to automatically calculate salt* levels — ultimately saving you money. The space saving design connects to plumbing up to 1” diameter, meaning this system will work in most homes.

* For peak performance in your high-efficiency Whirlpool water softener, evaporated salt pellets or solar salt crystals with less than 1% impurities are recommended. It is not recommended to use any kind of block salt in Whirlpool water softeners.

Do-It-Yourself Installation Kit: Our detailed instructions and installation kit make do-it-yourself installation of the Whirlpool WHES30 Water Softener possible without the help of a plumber. To get started, you will need to purchase the necessary connectors for your plumbing, inspect the included installation kit and locate a nearby 110V electrical outlet and a drain.
